Chacos

I owe my very first trace of an interest in these shoes to my bff.a.e.a.e.a.e.a.e (best friend for ever.and.ever.and....) amber oswald! honey! i finally bought some:) They have a brown souls with brownish/green strappies. I LOVE these shoes. My mom calls them my grown up jesus sandals (mainly because they have an arch).
I'm pretty sure I've worn them everyday since i got them last week. super good deal too! All the ones that i was looking at were over 100 dollars. So instead of looking through the girl selections i started looking through the guys. And because not very many guys where my shoe size... There were more to pick from and Way more on clearance. I got mine for 69 bucks baby! (free shipping!)

rock climbing

So i have a hobby!

-my mom is so proud

I went for the first time about a month ago with my friend Jameson, and I kind of fell in love. I bought a month pass about 5 days ago for 60 bucks. Climbing shoes are the hardest to find. At least they are if you are as cheap as me. I went to basically every climbing store in vegas. The cheapest I found were 85 bucks... So i started searching on the internet (which is not the smartest thing to do for climbing shoes, because you need them to fit perfectly to your feet). I found some for 43 dollars and i bought them. They came and they fit perfectly, which in rock climbing terms mean the squish all circulation to my toes off:) ha

I've made some pretty good progress. I can now do a real live pull up, which i haven't been able to do in years. There is one route that i have been working on since the first day i went to that gym and I can almost make it to the top.

The first day i went by myself, i ran into a friend from 7th grade who used to be fat. He taught me some stuff and shared his chalk with me.. (which i still need to buy).

Yesterday I met a short hispanic guy who was basically a monkey. I never did catch his name, but he helped me a ton! and he shared his chalk with me.. (at this rate i wont need to buy chalk, just turn the flirt up baby!)

hi

I'm ready to go back to Vegas. Provo weather has some serious issues... It will be hot/perfect one day, and the next day you will wake up and there will be 2 inches of snow on the ground. Its ridiculous. My home... aka Vegas... doesn't trick you. If it is warm one day, so is the next day, and the next.. Mainly it is always warm.

Also i think i figured out my major! Recreational Management and Youth Leadership baby! For one of my classes i have to survive in the wilderness for 36 hours and in the same class i get to chop off a chickens head!!! I'm totally stoked. This major is basically the embodiment of all i've ever wanted to do. I am minoring in Family Life... four more classes and I will have my minor in the bag!

so one time i was rollerskating...

So last tuesday for a ward activity we went rollerskating. My friend Nate who is awesome happened to come to my house just before we left, so he came too.

At some point during the night i went to use the facilities... cuz i needed to... I got to my stall, locked myself in, and when to take a sit. Somewhere, about 21 inches from connecting with the seat, my skates came out from under me. I'd never really timed it before, but that 21 inches closed in alot quicker than they normally did... basically i hit my tailbone and my bum on the toilet and my shin on the door. It hurt alot.

i'm also sick right now. its fun. I'm in the library studying and i've gone to the bathroom 11 times to blow my nose. I think the kid who is sitting across to me, pretending i don't exsist thinks i have bowel issues... or something. I don't blame him, if he had bowel issues i'd probably pretend he didn't exsist either.

( k I wouldn't actually, I'm just trying justify the fact that he makes it a point to look everywhere else besides across the table.... I even showered AND got ready today...)

my roommate made a comment the other day saying she didn't quite understand how the things in my blogs go together... it's probably cuz they don't... i just say whatever i want, because I can.

A girl i know was talking about agency. She was quoting someone, and saying what someone else said but it was good.... she was talking about how agency is the one thing Heavenly Father has given us but can't take back, in order for his plan to word there has to be agency. Since thats one thing that Heavenly Father truly gave us to do whatever we would with, what if we were to give that back to our heavenly Father. Or in other words use our agency for HIS work. That would probably be the best gift we could give.

I am going to talk really quick about this kid named Nate i mentioned earlier. Mainly because he IS truly awesome. Nate cares about everyone. He is everyone's friend as soon as he meets them, or even sees them. He is extremely considerate and doesn't care what others think of him. One time, we were at the bowling alley in the Wilk and Nate said " i've always wanted to slide across one of these counters, like in the movies", i said something like "that's nice" and then i think i blink because by the time i realised it, he was 3/4ths of the way across the counter! I went up to the lady and said "sorry bout him, he's just always wanted to do that". ha ha ha ha ha. He's awesome. Probably one of my best friends and i am thankful for him and his crazy-happy-optimistic view about life.

i love you all
I miss las vegas
I can't breathe through my nose
good night
:)
